Welcome back stinkers! I am back with yet another movie review! Adding to the 2025 catalog, we have Star Trek: Section 31! Make sure you like and subscribe for more videos and reviews like this! Let’s get into the review!
Michelle Yeoh (The Good)
Starting off with the good… I actually can’t think of anything. This movie was a big heaping pile of trash! Wow this review is going to be short. This is my first introduction to the Star Trek franchise. Was it the smartest choice to start with Section 31? No… But I wanted to get on top of the 2025 movies. If you’re going to watch the film, which I’d recommend not to, watch it for Michelle Yeoh. Yeoh absolutely gives it her all and I think that’s about the only thing worth celebrating for in this movie.
A Poorly Put Together Film (The Not so Good)
Moving on to the not so good. I have a couple of those… As a first time Star Trek watcher, the movie was boring, poorly acted, poorly written, poorly directed, and just poorly put together. This was just not a good movie! Whenever I watch a movie that I don’t end up liking, I have a harder time putting together a review compared to when I do like it. How I know it’s REALLY bad is when I can easily pinpoint what was bad, and the mistakes that were made. For a 1-and-a-half-hour movie it moves very slow.
And one of the reasons why I thought this was such a poorly written movie, is because it’s such a predictable one! It was so obvious what was going to happen, and it was just such a poorly executed twist. Even though I thought it was so predictable, I still couldn’t tell you what this movie was about. This movie all together was poorly executed! I’ve never watched a Star Trek movie, as of now I’m not a Star Trek fan, but even I’m mad!
